Linda Bengtzing
Linda Bengtzing (born March 13, 1974 in Gullspång ) is a Swedish pop singer .
Life
Floor Filler and Melodifestivalen 2005
Linda started her pop career with Wallman's in Oslo and Gothenburg . She had her first appearance in the TV4 show Ordjakten , and in autumn 2005 she presented the dance show Floor Filler on TV3. Her career began when she took part in the Swedish preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest , the Swedish Melodifestivalen , in 2005 . With her song Alla flickor (German: Alle Mädchen ) she made the leap into the Andra-Chances-Show and the participation in the final in Stockholm, where she reached the 9th place. Their first single was a huge success in Scandinavia, made it to number 8 on the Swedish charts and stayed there for 19 weeks.
Fame Factory
In early 2005, Bengtzing took part in the Swedish casting show Fame Factory . Singer Sandra Oxenryd won the show and represented Estonia in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest . Linda sang the titles Natten har en hemlighet (German: The night has a secret ) and Steg för steg (German: step by step ) on 'Fame Factory' , which were not released as singles, but can be found on the long players of the show . After leaving, Bengtzing was given the opportunity to take part in the Melodifestivalen . The song Alla flickor , which was supposed to be sung by Pernilla Wahlgren , was re-recorded with her.
Melodifestivalen 2006
Shortly after the Melodifestivalen 2005, the participants for 2006 were already determined. The producers Ingela "Pling" Forsman, Lars "Dille" Diedricson and Martin Hedström wrote the song Jag ljuger så bra (German: I lie so well ) for Linda Bengtzing . The first semifinals took place in Leksand on February 18th . Linda made her appearance in fifth place. Two costume changes and a choreography with two singers / dancers were on the program. Presenter Lena Philipsson announced the result: Linda Bengtzing, together with singer Andreas Johnson , will go straight to the final in Stockholm. The single was released on March 13, 2006 in Scandinavia.
In the grand finale in Stockholm's Globen , Linda Bengtzing was 5th in the jury rating and 6th in the audience rating. She finished 7th in the end, a placement that disappointed her a little. As expected, Carola Häggkvist won the Melodifestivalen 2006 and represented Sweden at the ESC in Athens in May . The single Jag Ljuger Så Bra had already made it to second place in the Swedish charts, and the album Ingenting Att Förlora (German: Nothing to lose ) also sold very well.
Melodifestivalen 2008
Your contribution this year Hur Svårt Kan Det Va? was, similar to their two previous participations, an up-tempo pop song and was previously considered one of the favorites of the fourth semifinal in Karlskrona on March 1st. The song was written by Johan Fransson, Tim Larsson and Tobias Lundgren especially for Bengtzing's participation in the festival. With this song Bengtzing (together with Charlotte Perrelli) won the preliminary round. In the final on March 15 in Stockholm, she finished fifth.
Melodifestivalen 2011
In 2011 Bengtzing's contribution was called E det fel på mig . This enabled her to qualify for the final in Stockholm in Malmö .
