Sandra Oxenryd (born October 1, 1982 in Kristinehamn near Karlstad ) is a Swedish pop singer .

Career

She became famous for her victory in the Swedish version of the talent show Fame Factory . In 2005 she released her debut album All There Is and the single At Your Side , which came to number twelve on the Swedish charts.

On February 4, 2006, she competed against nine competitors on the Estonian television program Eurolaul 2006 , the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest , and won just ahead of the favorite Ines , who had already represented Estonia in 2000. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, her title Through My Window reached eighteenth place in the semi-finals and could therefore not qualify for the final.

Oxenryd took part in the Polish preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with the title Super Heroes .
