Suntribe was a girl group from Estonia that represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 . With the song Let's Get Loud , the band won the Estonian preliminary decision Eurolaul 2005 on February 5, 2005 . At the Song Contest in Kiev on May 19, 2005, she was eliminated in the qualifying round, shortly afterwards the band was disbanded.

Suntribe consisted of five singers who were between 16 and 20 years old in 2005:

All five band members were still attending school or university, where they mainly concentrated on the subject of music. Her hobbies included motorcycles, modeling, swimming, folk dancing and cooking. They cited Ella Fitzgerald , Nina Simone , Madonna and Anouk as musical role models .
Band member Laura, who was discovered through a talent competition, also took part in the Estonian Eurovision preliminary decision with a solo contribution ( Moonwalk ) and took second place. Alone, it received 9,906 votes, while Suntribe was voted 10,583 times. Daana was not a member of the group at the time of the preliminary decision, but only joined the group later.
Band environment
Suntribe was produced by Sven Lõhmus , the discoverer and former producer of the girl group Vanilla Ninja, which is now well-known outside of Estonia . Jüri Nael worked as the group's choreographer. Gerly Tinn , one of Estonia's best fashion designers, designed the Suntribe stage outfit for her grand entrance at the Grand Prix.
