Lisa Andrea Koop , born on September 23, 1985 in Marburg , is a German national basketball player .
Life
She graduated from high school Philippinum in Marburg in 2004 and studied biology at Winthrop University in 2005 . From 2006 she was enrolled at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen .
Athletic career
society
The 1.97 m tall centerwoman played at BC Marburg from 2002 . It had its premiere with the first team on December 18, 2002 in a 95:90 victory in the second round of the German Cup competition at TV Hofheim. So she was indirectly involved in the subsequent cup victory , even if she did not score a point.
While she was only used nationally in the now promoted second division team in the following season, she moved into the first team for a European Cup match on October 22, 2003 in Szeged (56:85 defeat) and was on the field for five minutes. She made her debut in the 1st women's basketball league on October 17, 2004 as part of the season opening matchday in Leipzig against BG Bonn (72-77 defeat). At the end of this season, her team won the bronze medal in the Cup Top Four , to which Koop was unable to travel due to an illness.
In the 2005/06 season Lisa Koop studied and played for one year at Winthrop University in the United States and returned to Marburg for the following year. It was used at BC Marburg both in the 2nd team, which has since been relegated back to the regional league, and increasingly in the Bundesliga. In 2006 she became a permanent fixture in Marburg's 1st team and received steadily increasing playing time.
For the 2012/2013 season, Lisa Koop moved to Pozzuoli to the Italian first division club Pallacanestro Pozzuoli. For the second half of the season she then moved back to Germany for the second division club Grünen-Stern Keltern. From there she moved back in 2013 to the first Bundesliga for the Herner TC and for the 2014/2015 season to her home club BC Marburg. On April 4, 2015, she completed her 200th game for BC Marburg in the 46:75 play-off defeat against TSV 1880 Wasserburg.
For the 2015/2016 season she moved to ChemCats Chemnitz , in the 2016/2017 season she played for Landerneau Bretagne Basket in the French second division. She then moved to Sweden , where she played for Umeå BBK in the first division in the 2017/18 season and scored an average of 13.1 points and 8.7 rebounds in 30 appearances.
For the 2018/19 season she joined the Czech first division club Slavia Prague .
National team
Lisa Koop took part in the U20 European Championship in 2005 with the German selection.
In the following year she was also appointed to the senior national team. At her premiere in the friendly game on August 9, 2006 in Istanbul (64-76 defeat against Turkey), she scored two points. Then she denied with the team successfully EM - qualification . Koop was in the provisional national squad for the 2007 European Championship in Chieti / Italy and played two test matches against Croatia (67:78, 80:77) in their home town of Marburg on September 1 and 2, 2007 as part of the preparations for the European Championship with the national team . After that she was not nominated for the final European Championship squad, but remained ready on call.
In 2008 Lisa Koop was reappointed to the national team and, just like from 2010 to 2014, played in the respective preparatory games for the European Championship qualifications and in the qualifying games for the European Championships. In 2011 Lisa Koop won the elimination tournament with Germany that was held right before the European Championship and thus secured the last free place for the European Championship 2011 in Poland, where she had to be content with 13th place.

In the 2010/2011 Bundesliga round, Lisa Koop took first place with BC Marburg and came fourth in the German championship after the play-offs. In the cup round 2010/2011 she reached first place with the BC Marburg
