Bakker achieved her greater successes in beach handball, where she took part in the Junior European Championships (U 16) for the first time in Nazaré in 2016 . In the first win against Russia Bakker was not yet used, in the two subsequent wins in the preliminary round against Spain and Bulgaria she was actively involved, against Bulgaria she also contributed two points to the victory. As the first in the group, the Dutch moved into the quarter-finals against Italy, which they clearly beat in two sets. The hard-fought semi-final against Norway won the Netherlands in the shootout, Bakker contributed four points. In the final, the Dutch also met Spain, which they defeated in two sets and, especially in the first half, dominated with 17: 6 points. Bakker also scored two points in the final.

In 2017 , Bakker at Lake Jarun near Zagreb was also part of the Dutch squad at the European Junior Championships (U17). In the preliminary round, the Ukraine, Romania, Poland and Germany achieved clear two-set victories, the Dutch only won in the shootout in the last game against co-favorites Hungary. Against Poland she scored eight points, which is unusually high for a goalkeeper, making her the third-best thrower behind Anna Buter and Lynn Klesser with 10 points each. The Dutch women entered the knockout games as the undefeated first in the group. The quarter-final against Lithuania was also clearly won. In the semifinals, Germany was defeated in a shootout. The final against the selection of Portugal was won in two hard-fought rounds and the Dutch women won the title again.

The following month Bakker was part of the Dutch selection, which took part in the U-17 World Championships held for the first time in Flic-en-Flac on Mauritius . After a clear victory over Taiwan in their preliminary group, they were the first in the group to qualify for the main round, as the other two group opponents from Brazil and Togo had withdrawn their teams. In the main round group, Croatia, Argentina and Hungary were defeated three world-class youth teams, although Argentina and Hungary only in the shootout. The Dutch women went into the knockout games without losing points. After beating Thailand in the quarter-finals, Argentina was defeated in the semi-finals. It was not until the final that Bakker and her team suffered the first defeat of the tournament, they were defeated by Hungary in the shootout.

At the U-18 European Junior Championships 2018 in Ulcinj , Montenegro , her teammate Iris Hoekenga replaced Bakker, who had always formed the goalkeeper duo with Lieke van der Linden .

The highlight and conclusion of the junior women's time was participation in the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires , where beach handball was played for the first time as part of the Olympic Games and Bakker again formed the goalkeeping duo with van der Linden. Bakker also scored four points in their first win against Paraguay, including the Dutch women’s first goal in the tournament and the game and the last goal of the game. It also blocked 40% of the enemy shots. Their quota was even better with 76% held throws in the second game against Hong Kong, an outstanding value. In the win against Turkey, as in the shootout against Venezuela, she acted rather inconspicuously. In the final victory over the strong hosts, she again held a third of the opposing goal attempts. In the first game in the main round, a 2-1 win in the shootout over Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Bakker acted very aggressively and scored eight points - including the victory decisive goal in the shootout - and was the goalkeeper after Klesser and Buter third-best thrower your team. In addition, with nine of 27 opposing goal throws, she held up to a third of all opposing attempts. When she won the shootout over Croatia, she again held a third of the opponent's throws and scored twice for four points, including the winning goal in the shootout. In the defeat in the shootout against the Hungarians, she still held eleven of 25 opposing attempts and thus the top value of 44%. Despite the defeat, the Netherlands reached the semi-finals as first in the group. After a convincing tournament up to then, however, they were clearly defeated by the Croatian team in two sets. Bakker could only hold three of 16 opposing attempts. The Dutch women also lost the game for the bronze medal against the representation of Hungary, the permanent rivals of recent years. With only one sustained throw of 17 attempts, Bakker showed her weakest tournament performance. With 24 points she was more successful than her teammates Zoë van Giersbergen and Marit Crajé, who played in the field .

After the final victory over Portugal, the Dutch women moved into the quarter-finals as runner-up in the main round behind Croatia, where they met reigning world champions Greece, who were defeated in the shootout.
