This article contains public bookcases in Hamburg and does not claim to be complete. A public bookcase is a cupboard or cabinet- like storage space with books that is used to offer books free of charge, anonymously and without any formalities for exchange or to take away. As a rule, the public bookcases are freely accessible every day of the year. If this is not the case, this is noted in the lists in the Comments column.
