Anglican orders and Anglican monasteries are the male and female orders of the Anglican Church or its monasteries . They mostly live according to the same rules as the Roman Catholic orders. They often have the same name. Some orders and monasteries are primarily dedicated to the Vita contemplativa , other orders and monasteries are primarily dedicated to the Vita activa , i.e. H. the pastoral and Caritas .
