Glassblower fountain Domackerstraße / corner of Köln-Aachener-Straße
location
The fountain system was built in 1963 based on designs by the artist Gilbert Kroff . The statue, which stands on a trapezoidal base in the middle of the circular fountain basin, was cast in collaboration with the Cologne factory schools. The figure embodies a glassblower in a timeless representation. The fountain is reminiscent of the Ichendorfer Glashütte, which had made a name for itself far beyond the region for the quality of its products. 1963 129 Jan. 20, 1993

Havaria, building no. 4, 5, 6 and 7th Fischbachstrasse 31–39
location
The property is a manufacturing facility consisting of several buildings. The complex gets its intrinsic value from the high-quality, partially forward-looking design. The administration building, most committed to representation, designed conservatively as a villa, shows elements of Reformed historicism. The shape of the building with the porter's lodge is particularly “modern”. Objective forms, used appropriately, characterize this building. The large hall building is designed differently again. Its length required stronger structural elements, which in turn are based on a geometric grid. For both factory buildings, geometric shapes and precise outlines are used as adequate design elements for a technical system. 1913/14 252 0Aug 2, 2005
