These architectural monuments are entered in the list of monuments of the city of Verl; The basis for the admission is the Monument Protection Act North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).

Half-timbered building on a natural stone base with a gable roof. The mill building is located right next to the Ölbach , which still drives a medium-shaft water wheel today. Usually the wheel is used to drive a small electrical generator, but it is occasionally plugged into the original grinder for display purposes. The round arch attachment, which is provided with a niche, contains a cross relief on the back. Below the apex of the arch there are two side ridges. The figure has been replaced. This high-quality, baroque wayside shrine is unusual in its dimensions and represents a document of a certain prosperity of the donor family. The object is made of sandstone, has a large depth and a stepped base with cartouches and inscriptions. The end consists of a shell-shaped niche, front sides and a front cheek section with floral reliefs. The curved, arched gable in the shape of a barrel roof contains a putti relief. The cross roof is provided with corner turrets and a helmet made of sheet metal as well as a larger helmet as a crown. The corners are emphasized like buttresses. The base contains the year 1706 in the inscription as well as a cross with clover-leaf-shaped endings and three nails. The cover plate is designed like a pillow. The house-shaped top is also made of chiselled sandstone, and the arched niche is inscribed. The original figure and a grid are missing. This wayside shrine is the oldest in the Verler monument list.
