The list of football games between Eintracht Braunschweig and VfL Wolfsburg includes all the competitive games between the Lower Saxony football clubs Eintracht Braunschweig and VfL Wolfsburg . Just like the games between Eintracht from Braunschweig and Hanover 96 , encounters between the Braunschweig and VfL Wolfsburg are also referred to as Lower Saxony derby; the cities of Braunschweig and Wolfsburg are around 30 kilometers apart.

So far there have been 27 games, of which Eintracht from Braunschweig was able to win eleven. VfL Wolfsburg won ten games and six ended in a draw. In the 1988/89 season, Eintracht Braunschweig rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with a 2-1 win against VfL ; In the 1992/93 season, VfL Wolfsburg won 1-0 in Braunschweig, which meant that Braunschweiger Eintracht slipped to a direct relegation zone in the 2nd Bundesliga and had to relegate to the top division again at the end of the season . At the end of the 2016/17 season, VfL Wolfsburg and Eintracht Braunschweig met in relegation. Wolfsburg won both the first and second leg 1-0 and stayed in the Bundesliga, while Eintracht Braunschweig had to play another season in the 2nd Bundesliga. The Wolfsburg-based VW Group ensured, parallel to the development of VfL and Braunschweiger Eintracht, from the beginning of the 1990s, for an economic integration of the cities of Wolfsburg and Braunschweig, and so numerous Braunschweig residents also work for Volkswagen AG. In addition, both Eintracht Braunschweig and VfL Wolfsburg are financially supported by the Volkswagen Group: the Spanish subsidiary Seat is the Braunschweiger's jersey sponsor, while VfL Wolfsburg is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG. VW has a factory in Braunschweig, in which supplier parts are produced, and Volkswagen Financial Services is also based in the Lion City. The latter is also the sponsor of Eintracht Braunschweig. Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz (Volkswagen's Board Member for Purchasing), Hans Dieter Pötsch (VW Group Supervisory Board Chairman), Bernd Osterloh, who was born in Braunschweig, (Works Council) and Hans-Gerd Bode (Volkswagen’s Head of Communications) sit on the VfL Wolfsburg supervisory body. Meanwhile, Frank Fiedler, the CFO of Volkswagen Financial Services, and Uwe Fritsch, the works council from the VW plant in Braunschweig, sit on the supervisory board of Eintracht Braunschweig. Frank Witter, who is responsible for finance in the group's board of directors, sat on the supervisory board of Eintracht Braunschweig for many years and also lives in Braunschweig.
