Remarks

  • This list is not suitable for deriving binding statements on the monument status of an object. As far as a legally binding determination of the listed property of an object is desired, the owner can apply to the responsible lower monument protection authority for a notice.
  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).

Detailed memorial texts

  1. At a height of more than 700 m there is a forest hoof structure, the hooves of which branch off almost at right angles from the water and the main path and have been preserved with remarkable regularity. For the most part built in two rows, part of the upper village is so “pressured” by the raised bog that in between there is only one row. The widely spaced ground-floor houses, which were mostly built in the 18th century, are remarkable and characterize the townscape in a regionally hardly comparable way. They can also have an effect because the transfiguration of modern times is limited here and does not transfigure the structure. The house type is characterized by climate-related lowness and up to 80 cm thick outer walls. The stone masonry is plastered and whitewashed. Up to three quarters of the elongated floor plan are economic areas (expanded in the 19th century), otherwise the basic scheme follows that of the so-called Central German residential stable house and its division into living part, hall and stable / economic part. Outside, the wooden vestibules and, in some cases, still wood-shingled, herringbone gable sides characterize the picture (LfD / 2011).
  2. The parish church was built on the site of a late Gothic building from 1885–1887 according to the plans of Ch.G. Schramms and, with its mixture of Romanesque and Gothic style elements, is rather untypical for a village environment in the Upper Ore Mountains. The single-nave building with the south tower has a 3/8 choir closure; Inside there is a wooden barrel vault, single-storey galleries and sandstone baptism from the 16th century. Pewter baptismal bowl inscribed. 1683, owl organ from 1885; on the southern outer wall there is a remarkable baroque tombstone: two figures in a heart mandorla , held by two angels; the churchyard, enclosed by a plastered quarry stone wall, has a floor relief that rises to the west; building and local history as well as z. Partly artistic importance (LfD / 2011).
  3. residential stable house; So-called single-storey house of the Erzgebirge ridge from the 18th century, with a compact structure and a deep, slate-covered gable roof with a lying construction (one side with obscure later towed gauze); very strong plastered field stone outer walls with largely intact wall-opening ratio; former part of the stable no longer exists or is no longer visible from the outside; Particular relevance in terms of architectural history, as part of a village ensemble that is important for house research, also of scientific value, associated with urban development and landscape design (LfD / 2011).
  4. Rural residential building, typical regional Erzgebirgskammhaus, single-storey solid construction with smoothed walls (e.g. plastered natural stone window frames, loss of lattice windows), with weather house, steep, deep saddle roof with horizontal construction and without extensions, beautiful diagonal wooden shingling of the gables ; Historical significance, as part of a village ensemble which is important for house research, also of scientific value (LFD / 2011).
  5. Hartmannmühle; Residential mill house and barn of a mill estate on the upper reaches of the Müglitz on the Bohemian border; the weir is right on the border, from there the ditch runs; the technology in the house probably lost at least partially; the residential mill house, the structural core of which goes back to the 17th century, has been preserved to a high degree or has been restored in this sense; massive ground floor with two arched sandstone door walls, upper floor mostly exposed framework with wooden windows in original size and divided into six fields, partly planking, gable also boarded up or ornamentally shingled, compact hipped roof with lying chair, 2x5 bat dormers and wooden clapboard covering; The very authentic property, unfortunately again without use and residents, was already under monument protection during the GDR era because of its architectural and local historical importance (LfD / 2011).
  6. ^ Residential stable house on the upper floor timber-framed boarded up, of original structure and appearance, of architectural and economic importance. Exposed two-sided courtyard consisting of residential stable house and half-timbered barn, residential stable house: solid ground floor, entrance side exposed framework, upper floor window in original size, steep saddle roof, core of the building probably 18th century, boarded up barn; largely authentic, u. a. Significance in building history (LfD / 2011).
