Monument text: According to oral information, it was built in 1856 as a residential and administrative building for the CG Hillig stocking factory on the same property. Standing free on the property after the factory was demolished. Two-storey plastered building with a distinctive urban structure with well-preserved plastering on the ground floor, various cornices, roofing windows and friezes. The facade is characterized by these decorations and the regularly arranged rectangular windows with function and muntin division. The house is completed by a gable roof. A two-storey wooden structure is attached to the courtyard gable, which forms the entrance roof on the ground floor. Inside, most of the valuable building equipment was lost, only a few Art Deco leaded glass windows and the parquet floors remained in place. Today the house impresses with its authentic and architecturally sophisticated facade design, which today is only found sporadically in comparable quality. With its cubature and dominant street location, the building has a significant impact on the townscape. The monument value of the house results from the architectural, historical and urban value.
