1732-1736 Large aisle church with a multi-segmented tower top, of importance in terms of architectural history, the history of the town and the character of the townscape.

Plastered building with choir closed on three sides. The exterior is Gothicised by buttresses and high narrow windows, stately 52 meter high west tower. The interior is flat, characterized by the uniform furnishings. Two-storey galleries in the hall, two-storey boxes with arched openings to the choir on the north and south sides of the choir. around 1933 interior renewed, damaged by US shells in 1945, reconstructed in the 1950s,

White pulpit altar made of wood with depiction of the Last Supper by Gottfried Ettler from Schneeberg, 1733. Above inclined reddish double columns, blown gable with genii and large halo. On the side of the pillars on consoles two life-size personifications of the virtues. As a predelle image the Last Supper by Konstantin Seitz from Schneeberg, first half of the 18th century - baptismal font from the same time - two stained glass windows depicting the Annunciation to the shepherds and the women at the grave of Christ, 1909.

Organ by Jehmlich 1960, in the case of the previous organ by Christian Friedrich Poppe from Roda, 1795–98.

Beautifully crafted Bornkinnel , donated 1673, attributed to Johann Heinrich Böhme the Elder.
