List of cultural assets in Studen

The list of cultural assets in Studen contains all objects in the municipality of Studen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018).

Shortly after 58 BC Roman military station that was laid out in BC and was occupied until around 380 AD , located at the southern foot of the Jensberg on the route between Aventicum and Augusta Raurica . First excavations in the 1830s. The remains of a temple precinct and a gate system have been preserved. New excavations have unearthed an artisan quarter, a burial ground and three draw wells .

Fortified hilltop settlement of the Celts and the Gallo- Romans on the Jensberg, which dates from the 2nd century BC. Existed until late antiquity. Another part of the village existed from the 1st century AD on the Aventicum – Augusta Raurica road near a gravel pit.
