The list of natural monuments in Bottrop includes the natural monuments from the Bottrop landscape plan from 2015. In addition to listed trees and boulders, there is also a rare hornbeam arcade from the 1920s and a sand dune. Many of Bottrop's natural monuments date from the time when Kirchhellen was still part of the Vest Recklinghausen district . They were incorporated into the regional reform in 1975 .

There is the signposted natural monument route “Na'Tour” to the natural monuments in Bottrop. The 56 km long circular cycle path leads through the entire city of Bottrop, but can also be hiked on stages on “shank's pony”. The route can be downloaded free of charge for the navigation device. Alternatively, there is also a paper cycle tour map with lots of information and tips. It is available at the bike stations, the citizens' office, the city information center in Bottrop and the Kirchhellen district administration office.

It is a wooded sand dune with a length of approx. 70 m and a height of 3.5-4.0 m. The dune itself and the surrounding areas are planted with a richly structured middle-aged birch-oak forest. The ash ( Fraxinus excelsior ) stands in a pasture near the farm to the west of Gartenstrasse.

The ensemble consists of two 130–150 year old winter linden trees ( Tilia cordata ) with the Libori chapel in the middle. An earlier third linden tree has been removed for reasons of traffic safety.

The common beech ( Fagus sylvatica ) stands in the area of the sidewalk on the east side of Heimersfeld street. The tree consists of three mighty, intergrown trunks. It is a two-stemmed European beech ( Fagus sylvatica ) with a trunk circumference of 160 or 205 cm. Due to its location, the crown had to be removed for traffic safety reasons directly on the connecting route, after the tree threatened to break apart.

Hornbeam ( Carpinus betulus )	1974	For natural and cultural reasons, because of the rarity, peculiarity and beauty of the arcade.	It is an approximately 3.0 m wide and 2.5 m high arcade made of hornbeam ( Carpinus betulus ) with a length of 36 m along the L 623. The arcade is supported by a wooden construction. It was planted in 1920 at the former Bischofssondern youth hostel.

It is the relic of a tree, of which only the trunk remains today. The tree monument is of natural historical importance. The trunk circumference is 335 cm.
ND 2.3.25	Bottrop - Kirchhellen Elsbachsee in the Kirchheller Heide, on the forest path Koppelweg / Hiesfelder Straße map	Pedunculate oak on the Elsbach lake	1	English oak ( Quercus robur )		Because of the special beauty of the tree and representative of the trees that had to give way to the subsidence	It is a free-standing, approx. 25 m high tree with a well-defined crown, on the edge of the Elsbach, which was created due to mining effects.
