The list of governors of Pannonia superior contains the well-known consular governors ( Legatus Augusti pro praetore ) of the Roman province of Pannonia superior . The list is not complete.
The province of Pannonia inferior was created under Trajan (98–117) by dividing the province of Pannonia . At the beginning of the 4th century the provinces of Pannonia inferior and Pannonia superior were divided into four provinces: Pannonia prima , Pannonia secunda , Pannonia Savia and Pannonia Valeria .
