The Wiener Neustädter Canal was put into operation in 1803 and extended up to 63 km. Originally it was planned as far as Trieste . Parts of the route were later converted to railway lines, so that the movement of goods fell sharply from 1879 onwards.

In the core Romanesque choir tower church, in the west a baroque blind facade, square choir tower, parish separated from the mother church St. Ulrich in Wiener Neustadt at the end of the 14th century, orphaned in 1532, incorporated into the parish of Lichtenwörth in 1686, fire in 1605, rebuilt in 1608 by Cardinal Melchior Khlesl , 1712 again an independent parish.

The Wiener Neustädter Canal was put into operation in 1803 and extended up to 63 km. Originally it was planned as far as Trieste . Parts of the route were later converted to railway lines, so that the movement of goods fell sharply from 1879 onwards.
The arch bridge made of ashlar masonry was built at the end of the 18th / beginning of the 19th century.
