A former castle complex, which was probably built by Margrave Otakar III. was built by Styria and was one of the most important castles in Lower Austria in the 13th century.

Large number of prehistoric and early historical settlement remains, which are related to the extraction and processing of copper, the greatest prosperity of the settlement in the Hallstatt period, several burial mounds created in the forest areas, numerous finds in the caves of the mountain, Roman stone monuments from the Malleiten are located in the castles Ebreichsdorf and Hernstein.

Note: The entire area is a listed building. The punctual coordinate is representative of the forest plot with plot number 498/1 .

The brewery was built in 1824, expanded in 1834 and, through further renovation and expansion, was given its character as a spacious late-historic building complex in 1894.

The brewhouse is a two-storey exposed brick building under a wide saddle roof, next to which the chimney, also made of exposed brick, rises up. Inside there is a continuous hall with Prussian caps and iron trusses as well as brick brew pans.

A baroque mercy seat rests on a Tuscan column from the first half of the 19th century. The capital of the column shows two coats of arms ( shield and handicraft coat of arms of the soap makers ).

The house where Leopold Kupelwieser , an Austrian painter of the 19th century was born, is the former manor house of the Kupelwieser iron cookware factory and essentially dates from the late Baroque period. The facade shows late Biedermeier décor, the portal frame comes from historicism.

The early historical building was built between 1854 and 1859 by Johann Semmelrock and replaces a previous church that was demolished in 1720 due to its dilapidation. The high-proportioned nave is designed in romanticizing neo-Romanesque forms with round arches; presented is the slender north tower with a cross roof and pointed helmet.

The tabernacle shrine dates from the 16th century and was changed in the 18th century.
