The brewery was built in 1824, expanded in 1834 and, through further renovation and expansion, was given its character as a spacious late-historic building complex in 1894.
The brewhouse is a two-storey exposed brick building under a wide saddle roof, next to which the chimney, also made of exposed brick, rises up. Inside there is a continuous hall with Prussian caps and iron trusses as well as brick brew pans. |

The early historical building was built between 1854 and 1859 by Johann Semmelrock and replaces a previous church that was demolished in 1720 due to its dilapidation. The high-proportioned nave is designed in romanticizing neo-Romanesque forms with round arches; presented is the slender north tower with a cross roof and pointed helmet. |
