The parish church, which is consecrated to St. Rupert of Salzburg , is located in the center of the village in a slightly elevated position and is surrounded by the cemetery and a wall. It is essentially Romanesque ; the oldest parts of the wall date from the middle of the 13th century (in the south wall of the nave), and around 1770 it was rebuilt and expanded in the Baroque style.

The castle was mentioned in documents in 1197 and 1214 and destroyed at the time of Matthias Corvinus (15th century). In the meantime, only sparse remains of the wall have survived.
