The Church of St. Jacob was first mentioned in a document in 1143 and is a Gothic sacral building, which was later converted to Baroque style. The nave is single-nave and three-bay, the choir is single-bay with a 5/8 end. The west tower with a Romanesque core has a baroque eight-sided tower and an onion helmet. The high altar is decorated with a painting by Tobias Schinagl and is dated to 1677. The Beheading Barbara group from the demolished St. Barbara's Church, by Thomas Schwanthaler , stands in the gateway .
