The elevated fortified church is surrounded by walls, some of which are late medieval, with loopholes. The Romanesque walls of the four-bay nave were provided with a ribbed vault at the end of the 15th century. In 1658 Pietro Francesco Carlone added rectangular chapels, the sacristy and the just completed choir to the eastern yoke. The three-story late Gothic tower rises north of the nave; the capped pointed helmet dates from 1923. There are frescos on the west wall (Adoration of the Three Magi ), next to the west portal ( Mary's death and Christ on the Mount of Olives ) and on the south side (St. Christopher ), where they largely cover the southern chapel are covered. A painted sundial was made in 1511.
