Built in 1879, typical branch line station with a natural stone facade made of roughly hewn material. Window and door lintels are made of bricks. The gable shows wooden trimmings in fretwork.

The church is dedicated to St. Margaretha, the weather patroness. First mentioned in a document in 1329, assigned to Neuberg Abbey from 1346. In the same year she was commissioned by Abbot Simon v. Boltersdorf is enlarged and the presbytery is built. In 1460, the church and the associated goods finally become the property of Neuberg. In 1633, by order of Abbot Baltasar Hübmann, the Gothic altars were removed and replaced with new ones, while the interior was redesigned in the style that is still preserved today. In 1786, after the dissolution of Neuberg under Joseph II, Kapellen became an independent local curate again, and in 1859 it was upgraded to a parish.

Emperor Franz Josef I had this hunting lodge built for himself in 1869. The plans for the Swiss -style country house came from August Schwendenwein and his partner, the court architect Johann Romano . The building was significantly expanded in 1879 and 1903. Since 1947, the palace has served the current Austrian Federal President as the summer residence.

The three-part assembly from 1879 is designed in natural stone masonry with richly structured and decorated timber framework gables. The platform roof rests on cast iron columns. In the former courtyard waiting room, the etched window panes and the wooden coffered ceiling have been preserved.

The Gothic complex with choir and transept, without a nave, with stepped buttresses, was built around 1420 by Abbot Sigismund Gartner. The Anna Chapel was a parish church until the end of the 15th century. Profaned in 1786, the building was subdivided and converted into a residential building.

The uniform late Gothic church of Maria Himmelfahrt am green Anger (Grünangerkirche) in Alpl , built for a brotherhood between 1477 and 1522, was a parish church from the 16th century (instead of the Anna church ) until the abbey was abolished in 1786. The parish activities shifted to the former collegiate church, this church was hardly used anymore. In 1994 the parish bought it back from the Federal Forests, since then it has been repaired.

The churchyard and walling , and the Meierhof next to it , are also protected.

In 1327, on the initiative of Duke Otto the Merry , the Neuberg Abbey was founded with monks from the Heiligenkreuz Abbey in Neuberg , which was abolished in 1786 by Emperor Joseph II . In the course of the abolition of the monastery, the collegiate church became a parish church and the former Grünangerkirche Neuberg parish church was downgraded to a branch church.

The wing in the southeast of the monastery complex was adapted as a hunting lodge for Emperor Franz Joseph I in the middle of the 19th century and was used by Emperor Franz Joseph I until the hunting seat in Mürzsteg was built (1869).

The ruins in the "Schlösslpark" include remains of cellar vaults and apparently go back to the so-called "Jagdschloss", which was largely demolished in the 18th century and which lay outside the monastery wall.
