Two-storey four-wing building, of which the north wing is late Gothic with a stepped gable , the east wing was rebuilt as a prefecture by Domenico Sciassia around 1660 and the other wings were completed by Blasius Ruess after his death . The gate is dated with the year 1693. Connected to the church by a connecting passage, also in the Gothic style. There is an arcade courtyard in the south wing. On the western front a Gothic animal sculpture (presumably a panther) on a human head, probably around 1500. Arched Gothic portal.

On the first floor of the west wing is the former refectory with a stucco ceiling dated 1747 and an iron box oven with the coat of arms of Abbot Eugen Inzaghi . The ballroom shows dainty rococo stucco around 1770 with the coat of arms of Abbot Berthold Sternegger, green-glazed oven from the same period. The stove in the vestibule dates from after 1800.

1960–1962 restored. The local history museum has also been housed in this building since 1960.
