The house was built in 1919 with Art Nouveau elements and characterizes the entrance to Wiener Straße. In 2016, after years of vacancy, a conversion for assisted living was considered, after which the building was placed under protection.

The Semmering Railway was opened in 1854 and is the oldest standard-gauge mountain railway in Europe. It was planned by Carl Ritter von Ghega . From the train station Gloggnitz to station Mürzzuschlag it 41 kilometers.

The guard house bears the designation WH 200 according to the new census, or WH 54 according to the original census and is the last remaining guard house to the south.

The broad oval chapel was built by Martin Rottmayr in 1766 and houses a life-size statue of Johann Nepomuk.

The house was built around the middle of the 16th century, side wings protruding like a bay window with a house sign on the western wing. The arched portal has a door with a coat of arms, which is dated 1696. An arcade in the courtyard and a subdivided stucco ceiling from the 1st quarter of the 18th century on the upper floor.

Brahms composed his 4th symphony in this house , memorial plaque on the house.

The former Hammerherrenhaus Freibergerhaus was built in 1792 using older, partly Gothic buildings. The street front is two-storey and ten-axis with two entrance gates and a mansard roof . Classicist window baskets and staircase lattices from the same period on the ground floor. On the courtyard side in the western part of the staircase parapet (dated 1811) and window grilles are simpler. Remarkable interior.

The parish church of Mürzzuschlag was mentioned in a document as early as 1094 and is therefore one of the oldest churches in the entire Mürz Valley. Today, with the exception of the Gothic southwest tower, its appearance is shaped by the new building from 1767. The high altar, three side altars and the pulpit in the interior come from the Rococo.

The church was built in 1900 according to a plan by Carl Steinhofer in neo-Gothic forms. The construction was carried out to supply the Protestant community that was newly established as part of the Los von Rom movement and was made possible by a donation of 30,000 crowns in Germany initiated by the poet Peter Rosegger .
