The church and the former monastery are to the west above the market and can be reached from there via a covered wooden staircase. The church is a simple, west-facing hall building from 1737. The stylistically very uniform interior (column high altar, side altars, ambo) comes from the same year. All the altarpieces were created by Jacob Zanusi . The former monastery wing is directly connected to the church on the south side.

The parish church stands in the middle of the market raised on a slope. The single-nave hall building was built from 1652 to 1657 in place of dismantled or destroyed previous buildings. The free-standing north-east tower is essentially late medieval and was raised in 1776. The coffered flat ceiling in the interior dates from 1662. The main altar, several side altars, the pulpit and carvings were created in the 17th century in the Baroque style. Outside and inside the church has numerous tombstones from the 17th and 18th centuries.

The construction of the wall with a wide hipped roof is several kilometers north of Werfen near the Salzach. The Struber coat of arms in the gable field is dated 1515.
