The chapel with three round arches under a hipped roof stands along the road towards Altenmarkt im Pongau . The figures in the niches are from the end of the 18th century, the paintings from 1908.

The rectory dates from the second half of the 18th century and is built in the style of a Pongau pair yard . Joseph Mohr lived in this parsonage from 1837 to 1848.

The church was built around 1250 in the early Gothic style. It was first mentioned in documents in 1359 and was dedicated to St. Consecrated to Rupert. In 1486 it was raised to a vicariate and in 1857 to a parish church.

1616 under Archbishop Markus Sittikus by cathedral master builder Santino Solari, a small, simple baroque building with a rider's turret and attached sacristy, local side church of the parish church. Badly damaged in a fire in 1927. Today the funeral hall and sermon point of the Evangelical Christ Church in Bischofshofen .
