Lyudmila Pavlovna Vesselkowa

Lyudmila Pawlowna Vesselkowa ( Russian Людмила Павловна Веселкова , English transcription Lyudmila Veselkova, née Семенюта - Semenjuta - Semenyuta; born October 25, 1950 ) is a former Russian middle-distance runner who started for the Soviet Union .

Over 800 m , she came second in the European Athletics Cup in Zagreb in 1981 and won the World Cup in Athletics in Rome . The following year she won silver at the European Athletics Championships in 1982 .

In 1980 and 1981 she was the Soviet champion over 800 m and 1500 m . In 1981 she was also the Soviet indoor champion over 1000 m .
