Infrastructure and sights

Church of St. Magdalena and the maypole

Located away from the traffic routes from Munich to Bad Tölz and from Wolfratshausen to Holzkirchen , the village was largely able to retain its rural character.

The late Gothic branch church of St. Magdalena, built by Thomas Gugler around 1520, with a cemetery wall from the 17th / 18th century is well worth seeing . Century made of quarry and rubble stones. To the west of the church is a wayside shrine from the early 17th century. Architectural monuments are still the farmhouses built in the 17th and 18th centuries and their residential areas in Steingauer Straße 8 and 9 and in Ziegelstadelweg 3.
