Lois Rosindale (born April 17, 1990 in Leeds ; married Lois Banks ) is a former duathlete and triathlete from the United Kingdom . She is U23 duathlon vice world champion (2010), national triathlon champion (2011) and U23 European duathlon champion (2013).

Career

Rosindale graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University. She was initially active as a track and field athlete and turned to triathlon in 2009 to win the British University Championship straight away. In 2010 Rosindale also won bronze and silver at the U23 European and World Duathlon Championships.

In 2011, Rosindale finished 25th in the Elite Triathlon European Championship. The English elite triathletes did not take part in the Mix Relay competition, although with the individual winners Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee , both as well as Rosindale from Leeds, they would have been guaranteed a top place.

In France, Rosindale took part in the Lyonnaise des Eaux club championship series. In June 2013 she became the U23 European triathlon champion in Holten, the Netherlands.

Rosindale studied Sports and Exercise at Leeds Metropolitan University. She competed for the Leeds & Bradford TC, was coached by Jack Maitland and was a member of the Leeds-based national team (High Performance Triathlon Squad).

At the European Championships on the Olympic short distance, she finished fifth in June 2014. After an injury in 2014, she no longer appeared internationally.

In March 2016, Lois Banks, who was now married to Tim Banks and was then 25, declared her active time over. The two live in Leeds.
