Loitersdorf is a district of the market Frontenhausen in the Lower Bavarian district of Dingolfing-Landau .

location

The church village Loitersdorf is located in the Vilstal on the left bank of the Vils about one kilometer northwest of Frontenhausen .

history

The place was founded in the 8th or 9th century. A local pilgrimage led to Loitersdorf for the feast of the discovery of the cross , which is attested by several still existing votive tablets and the altarpiece in the church of St. Wolfgang.

In 1752, with seven properties, Loitersdorf belonged to the Witzl- and Winzersdorf supervisory board in the Frontenhausen district of the Teisbach district court , but five properties were under the Marklkofen court . After the formation of the community, it was part of the community of Loizenkirchen and came with this in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria in 1971 to the community of Aham , but in 1978 it was finally incorporated into the Frontenhausen market. In 1987 Loitersdorf had 32 residents.
