Loitzenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Martinsberg in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 32 building areas with 17,426 m² and 17 gardens on 1,321 m² in the cadastral community Loitzenreith , in 1989/1990 there were 32 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 144 and in 2009/2010 there were 68 buildings on 119 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 231 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 166 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 223 hectares and 172 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 213 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 173 hectares. The average soil climate number of Loitzenreith is 17.7 (as of 2010).
