Oed is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Martinsberg in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 20 building areas with 10,451 m² and 9 gardens on 955 m² in the cadastral community Oed , in 1989/1990 there were 20 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 78 and in 2009/2010 there were 45 buildings on 70 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 193 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 109 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 192 hectares and 108 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 182 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 111 hectares. The average soil climate number of Oed is 17.9 (as of 2010).
