Louis-Georges-Firmin Demol CICM (born June 8, 1885 in Winnezeele , France , † July 2, 1969 ) was a French Roman Catholic religious and apostolic vicar of Ober-Kasaï .

Life

Louis-Georges-Firmin Demol joined the religious order of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at and received on 17 July 1910, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 27, 1936, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to titular bishop of Vescera and coadjutor vicar of Ober-Kasaï. The Apostolic Delegate in the Belgian Congo, Archbishop Giovanni Battista Dellepiane , donated him episcopal ordination on July 26, 1937 ; Co-consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Lulua , Camille Valentin Stappers OFM , and the Vicar Apostolic of Ober-Kasaï, Auguste Declercq CICM. On October 29, 1938 Demol was succeeded by the resigned Auguste Declercq Vicar Apostolic of Ober-Kasaï.

Louis-Georges-Firmin Demol resigned as Vicar Apostolic of Ober-Kasaï in December 1947.
