Louis Dufour
Louis Dufour (born July 26, 1901 in Les Avants , † May 1960 ) was a Swiss ice hockey player .
Career
At club level he first played for HC Les Avants and during the First World War for HC Bellerive Vevey . In 1919 he moved to HC Rosey Gstaad for which he was active until 1931, where he won the Swiss championship in 1921, 1924 and 1925 .
In 1931 he moved to Paris , where he worked for the Racing Club de France , Paris City Team, the Paris Canadiens and CSH Paris until 1937 . With the Racing Club he took part in the Spengler Cup in 1932. He also opened an ice hockey school in Paris in 1933. After retiring, he became a hockey coach.
Louis Dufour took part for the Swiss national team at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp and at the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix (without commitment) and in St. Moritz in 1928 . In addition, he was in his country's squad at the European Championships in 1924 and 1925 , where he won the bronze medal in each case: He was also used at the European Championships in 1926 , where he and his team won the gold medal.
