Louis Kuehn

Louis Kuehn (born March 23, 1922 in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges , France , † June 25, 2008 ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Meaux .

Life

Louis Kuehn came from a family with seven children, of whom two brothers became priests and one sister joined the Augustinian choir women . His brother Michel Kuehn was Bishop of Chartres . Louis Kuehn was ordained a priest in 1947 .

1974 he was by Paul VI. appointed bishop of the diocese of Meaux . The episcopal ordination donated him on June 15, 1974, the then Bishop of Saint-Dié Jean-Félix-Albert-Marie Vilnet ; Co - consecrators were Jacques-Eugène-Louis Ménager , Archbishop of Reims , and André-Georges Bontems , Archbishop of Chambéry .
