Luís Gonzaga Peluso
Luís Gonzaga Peluso (born July 8, 1907 in Bragança Paulista , Brazil ; † November 7, 1993 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim .
Life
Luís Gonzaga Peluso received on 25 October 1931, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope Pius XII appointed him Bishop of Lorena on June 13, 1946 . The Archbishop of São Paulo , Cardinal Carlos Carmelo de Vasconcelos Motta , donated him episcopal ordination on August 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Bragança Paulista , José Maurício da Rocha , and the Bishop of Sorocaba , José Carlos de Aguirre .
On July 25, 1959, Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Cachoeiro do Itapemirim. He attended the first, third and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council as a council father.
Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation on December 3, 1985.
