Luca Homberger (born December 10, 1991 in Uzwil ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Winterthur in the Swiss League since the 2017/18 season .

Career

Homberger began his career in the youth team of the EHC Uzwil , where he played regularly for the first team from the 2008/09 season. For the 2011/12 season he moved to league rivals SC Herisau . He spent the next two seasons there before being transferred to EHC Winterthur in 2013 . With Winterthur winning the Amateur Championship title and hence the rise in the former he managed National League B .

The next season he played with Winterthur in the NLB, shortly before the end of the season he was loaned to league competitor EHC Olten . There he ended the season and then moved to EHC Kloten for the 2016/17 season , where he played his first games in the top division of Switzerland . He won the Swiss Cup with the Klotener in 2017 .

In the middle of the season he was loaned to EHC Winterthur, but returned to Kloten during the relegation. At the end of the season he was finally handed over to Winterthur, where he has been playing ever since.
