Luca Spinelli

Luca Spinelli is an Italian - Swiss journalist . He is a columnist for several magazines and founder of the Oscon Open Source Project.

Life

After working with VNU Business Publications and Feltrinelli , since 2007 he has been a columnist for the daily online newspaper Punto Informatico . He also wrote for La Repubblica , La Stampa , Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera , Wired , Il Manifesto .

Spinelli became known through some journalistic research that sparked national debates. In July 2007 MP Franco Grillini closed one of his copyright inquiries to a parliamentary question addressed to Vice-President Francesco Rutelli aimed at clarifying the conduct of the public administration .

In December 2007, one of his newspaper reports on a government-approved security policy law resulted in an amendment to the law by the Council of Ministers . In 2008, a government budget report revealed that there was an intention to distribute public funds to the major labels , which in turn sparked discussion and reaction from the Senators and FIMI . In 2007 and 2008 he was the author of investigative studies on the institutional website Italia.it, quoted by Sergio Rizzo in his bestseller “Rapaci” (Rizzoli, 2009).

In February 2008, Spinelli caused a scandal with a poll on a legislative initiative by MP Riccardo Franco Levi. Spinelli is one of the Italian experts in barrier-free design and has given lectures and seminars at the University of Genoa .
