Luciano Suriani
Luciano Suriani (born January 11, 1957 in Atessa , Chieti Province , Italy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
He received in 1981 by Vincenzo Fagiolo the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Chieti-Vasto .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 22, 2008 titular Archbishop of Amiternum and Apostolic Nuncio in Bolivia . He was ordained bishop on April 26th of the same year by Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Cardinal Bertone SDB ; Co - consecrators were Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran and Bruno Forte , Archbishop of Chieti-Vasto.
He resigned from his office on November 21, 2008. On September 24, 2009 he was appointed a delegate of the State Secretariat .
On December 7, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Nuncio in Serbia .
