Reviews
Ryan Cracknell wrote in the Apollo Movie Guide that the film was "the epitome of wasted talent ." With the participation of the “ soon to be superstar ” Kirsten Dunst, James Caan , who was previously nominated for an Oscar , and “ one of the best supporting actors ” Luis Guzmán, one could expect something at least “ distantly entertaining ”. However, the plot is " lukewarm " and the film lacks a heart. " Weak " dialogues would largely replace the plot.
Awards
James Caan was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for the DVD Exclusive Award (Video Premiere Award) in 2001.

The film was shot in Las Vegas and Los Angeles . Its production amounted to an estimated 12 million US dollars . The world premiere took place on August 4, 2000 at the Hollywood Film Festival .
