Ludwig Bölkow Journalist Prize

The Ludwig Bölkow Journalist Prize is a journalist prize donated by the European aerospace group EADS in memory of Ludwig Bölkow .

Official objectives

The award is intended to promote well- researched journalism in the aerospace field and make the complex topic accessible to a wide audience. The award is given to authors who competently deal with subject areas or partial aspects from the aerospace industry, question them critically, analyze them in detail and convey them to laypeople in a generally understandable manner. The prize is awarded annually in the print , radio and television categories and is endowed with 5,000 euros each. An independent jury led by the German School of Journalism evaluates the entries.

Since 2009, the prize has been included in the German Journalist Prize for Aerospace .
