Ludwig Meyer (born May 11, 1925 in Haindlingberg near Mallersdorf ; † August 3, 1991 in Ergoldsbach ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Meyer was a soldier in World War II . After the end of the war he attended the grammar school in Pfarrkirchen and the comprehensive university in Kassel , where he obtained the title of graduate engineer. In 1954 he took over a farm in Neufahrn in Lower Bavaria . Meyer became a member of the CSU in 1954. In 1960 he became deputy chairman of the Mallersdorf district association ; In 1966 he became district chairman there. He held this office until the district association was dissolved by the regional reform . In 1956 he was elected to the Prinkofen local council, where he became mayor in 1966. In the same year he became deputy district administrator in Mallersdorf before becoming a full-time district administrator in 1970. He also held this office until the circle was dissolved. Then he was deputy district administrator in Landshut and there also district chairman of the CSU. In 1978 Meyer was elected to the Bavarian state parliament. The re-election in 1982 initially failed, but on November 1, 1983 he replaced Dieter Görlitz, who had left the country. On December 31, 1985 Meyer resigned from his state parliament mandate after he was elected district administrator of the Landshut district. Meyer kept this office until his death.
