Franz Graf von Spreti
Franz Graf von Spreti (born April 17, 1914 at Kapfing Castle near Landshut ; † May 11, 1990 there ) was a Bavarian politician ( CSU ). He was the district administrator of the Landshut district and district council president of Lower Bavaria .

Franz Seraph Maria Adolf von Spreti, from the German-Italian noble family of the Counts von Spreti , was the youngest son of the landowner Adolf Count von Spreti (1866–1945) and his second wife Anna Maria Countess Yrsch (1874–1944). He had three brothers Cajetan (1905–1989), Karl (1907–1970) and Maximilian (1910–1945).
Franz married Countess Helene Moy de Sons (1919–1979) in his first marriage . This marriage resulted in four children (Alexander, Christoph, Leopold and Michael). His second marriage was to Pia Countess von Preysing-Lichtenegg-Moos (1926–1993). The marriage resulted in two sons and a daughter (Wolfram, Hedwig and Heinrich).
Life
He was a soldier in World War II, most recently a lieutenant on the staff of the 57th Infantry Division (IIa Staff 57th ID).
Franz Graf von Spreti in 1945 mayor in Vilsheim in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . From June 1, 1948 to April 30, 1964, he was the first district administrator in the Landshut district . He was followed by Toni Beck in 1964 . From 1958 to 1962 he was Wilhelm Schönhuber's successor as District Assembly President of Lower Bavaria . He was elected President of the 2nd District Assembly of Lower Bavaria with 24 out of a total of 25 possible votes with one abstention. His successor in the office of District Assembly President was Josef Haufellner .
In 1964 he became president of the office and administration of the Duke of Bavaria . In 1979 he retired.
In 1968 Franz Graf von Spreti was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Cardinal Tisserant and on July 8, 1968 in Munich by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy, and Hermann Josef Abs , Lieutenant in Germany, invested in the order.
