Wilhelm Schönhuber

Wilhelm Schönhuber (born January 27, 1902 in Appertshofen , Ingolstadt district ; † May 21, 1979 in Rott am Wald , Rottal-Inn district ) was a German lawyer and politician ( Bavaria Party , FDP ).

Life

Schönhuber, who comes from Appertshofen, which is now part of Stammham , attended the New Gymnasium in Würzburg and then studied law at the universities in Munich , Würzburg and Erlangen . He passed the first state examination in law , completed his preparatory service and was admitted to the bar after passing the second state examination in law . First he practiced in Nuremberg , then in Eggenfelden , where he moved his residence in 1935.

Schönhuber had been a member of the district council in the Eggenfelden district for the Bavarian party since 1952 . He had been a member of the advisory district assembly for Lower Bavaria since 1953 and was elected the first president of the district assembly on November 28, 1954 during the constituent meeting in the Landshut town hall . He held the office of district council president until 1958. In the state elections in November 1958 , he was elected as a member of the Bavarian state parliament through the constituency of Lower Bavaria . In parliament he was from January to March 1959 member of the committee for security issues. He left the Bavarian party during the legislative period, joined the FDP on January 10, 1962 and changed faction. In November 1962 he left the state parliament.

In addition to his professional and parliamentary activities, Schönhuber had been a member of the supervisory board of Ostbayerische Energieversorgung since 1954 and chairman of the Füssing association since 1957 . He was also a member of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse .
