Ludwig Verbeek

Ludwig Verbeek (born November 24, 1938 in Cologne ) is a German writer .

Life

Ludwig Verbeek studied German , English , geography , psychology and art at the University of Bonn . From 1958 to 1959 he stayed in the United States . He then worked as a teacher at schools in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia . From 1971 to 2003 he taught German and English at the Bonn evening high school . From 1977 to 79 he was a member of the specialist commission for the second educational path in North Rhine-Westphalia . Verbeek lives in Bonn today. As a juror and mentor, he was active in various committees in some places.

Ludwig Verbeek is primarily a poet , but also writes stories , essays and diaries . In 1961 his radio play “I drive the Reikjaveneta” (directed by Johannes Weinberg) was premiered on the stage for sensual perception - KONZIL as part of the “Studium Universale” of the University of Bonn. From 1977 to 1983 he published the cultural magazine "Die Kribbe".

Ludwig Verbeek is a member of the Association of German Writers , whose Bonn district group he co-founded and chaired from 1978 to 1984, and the Society for Literature in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1981 he received a work grant from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia .
