Ludwig Wedel (born April 9, 1909 in Griesheim , † March 30, 1993 in Groß-Umstadt ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

After elementary school and business school, Ludwig Wedel attended the auditor's institute and did an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk . Ludwig Wedel had been a member of the SPD, SAJ and the trade unions since 1923 . On December 4, 1939, Ludwig Wedel applied for membership in the NSDAP . This was rejected. The reason given is: “There is reason to assume that Wedel is seeking membership in the party only for the purpose of obtaining business advantages and better economic advancement with it. Wedel is therefore not acceptable for the party. "
