Ludwig von Aulack (* 1706 ; † December 9, 1763 in the Jagdhaus Colbitz ) was a Prussian lieutenant colonel , commander of a grenadier battalion and chief forest master of the Duchy of Magdeburg .

Life

origin

Ludwig was the son of the Prussian lieutenant colonel Friedrich Wilhelm von Aulack and a daughter of Christoph von Roch († 1707) from the house of Jablonken ( Ortelsburg ). In 1707 Friedrich Wilhelm von Kolrepp , who also owned Kulk and Waldpusch , took over the estate. In 1748 it went to the Fabeck family .

Military career

As early as 1718, Aulack was the third ensign in the "Arnim" infantry regiment No. 3 . In 1726 he was transferred as a lieutenant to the garrison in Magdeburg and in 1735 came with his regiment to the Rhine campaign . He rose to major . In 1745 Aulack received a grenadier battalion, which was formed from two grenadier companies from regiments No. 46 and No. 47 . He fought with the battalion near Kesselsdorf . He took his leave as lieutenant colonel.

Civil life

On April 24, 1754, Aulack was appointed chief forest master of the Duchy of Magdeburg . He became the successor to LH von Davier. At first he still lived in Magdeburg and in June 1752 moved to the Colbitz hunting lodge. In 1753 he became the heir of Wangitten and in 1755 he sold his goods to a gentleman from Arnstedt . He died unmarried in his hunting lodge in 1763.
