Ludwig von Beughem

Ludwig Friedrich Conrad von Beughem (born May 22, 1806 in Munster , † July 21, 1886 in Koblenz ) was the royal Prussian Justice President and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

He came from a noble family coming from Brabant . Beughem studied from 1824 law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität , the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . In 1825 he was reciprocated in the Corps Guestphalia Bonn . In 1827 he was appointed senior judge , in 1837 mountain judge in Siegen , and in 1850 director of the Neuwied district court . In 1870 he became president of the Ehrenbreitstein Justice Senate .

Between 1849 and 1879, with only brief interruptions, he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1874 to 1878 a member of the Reichstag for the constituency of Koblenz District 1 (Altenkirchen-Wetzlar) and the National Liberal Party .

With his brothers, the later Paderborn public prosecutor Friedrich von Beughem and the later Prussian major Carl von Beughem, he was enrolled in the nobility class in the Prussian Rhine Province in 1829 .
