Luhanske ( Ukrainian Луганське ; Russian Луганское Luganskoje ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia with about 230 inhabitants (2001).

Luhanske belongs administratively to the settlement community Rosiwka ( Розівська селищна громада Rosiwska selyschtschna hromada ) in the south of the Rajon Rosiwka . The village with an area of ​​1.07 km² is located in the Azov highlands at an altitude of 207  m at the source of the Karatysh ( Karatis ), an approximately 40-kilometer-long left tributary of the Berda .

The village was in 1832 by 26 families of German descent Lutherans from Round Meadow ( Ukrainian Круглолугівка Kruhloluhiwka ) in Chernigov Governorate founded initially called as the mother colony round meadow or colony no. 21 Between 1925 and 1939 the village was in Luxembourgish-German Nationalrajon ( Люксембургский немецкий национальный район ) within the Okrug Mariupol ( Мариупольский округ ).

Luhanske is located on the border with Donetsk Oblast three kilometers southeast of the municipality and district center Rosivka 45 kilometers northwest of Mariupol and about 175 kilometers southeast of the Oblast center Zaporizhia . The trunk road N 08 / Territorial road T – 08–03 runs through the village .
