Luis Gabriel Cuara Méndez (born February 25, 1939 in San Juan Parangaricutiro , † November 20, 2005 ) was a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Veracruz .

Life

Luis Gabriel Cuara Méndez was ordained a priest on December 2, 1962 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tuxpan on August 6, 1989 . The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico , Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on October 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were his predecessor Mario de Gasperín Gasperín , Bishop of Querétaro , and Alberto Suárez Inda , Bishop of Tacámbaro .

On February 18, 2000, he was appointed Bishop of Veracruz .
